Location: Thai partner schools
Date: May/ June 2026
Exchange: Board, food & cultural immersion in exchange for facilitation support

About the ICE Programme

The ICE (International Cultural Exchange) Programme delivers short-term English, drama, and cultural immersion camps in Thai schools. Our camps are designed to be engaging, energetic, and confidence-building, helping students develop spoken English, creativity, teamwork, and cultural awareness in a fun, supportive environment.

We work closely with Thai teachers and schools, and our camps follow a clear daily structure with room for creativity and collaboration.

What Youll Be Doing as a Camp Facilitator

As a camp facilitator, youll be actively involved in the day-to-day running of school-based camps, working directly with children (usually primary-aged, sometimes early secondary).

Typical tasks include:

Supporting and leading English conversation activities

Facilitating drama games, role-play, movement, and performance tasks

Helping deliver structured lessons and workshops (materials and guidance provided)

Assisting with group activities, team challenges, and creative projects

Encouraging students to speak English confidently in a relaxed, playful way

Supporting behaviour positively and helping maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment

Taking part in end-of-camp performances or presentations

You wont be left to wing it activities are planned, demonstrated, and shared as a team.

Working Together & Sharing Skills

This is a collaborative role. Facilitators work together throughout the day:

Leading activities as a team

Sharing ideas, games, and teaching techniques

Learning from each others strengths (drama, sport, art, languages, leadership, etc.)

Reflecting at the end of the day on what worked well and what to adapt

If you have skills in drama, education, youth work, sport, music, art, or ESL, theres plenty of opportunity to bring those into sessions, but enthusiasm and willingness to get involved matter more than formal experience.
