Location: El Palmar De Vejer, Spain
Calling all builders, plasterers, carpenters and electricians who are interested in spending a few months on the Costa de la luz! We have a beautiful but aging 3 bedroom house in El Palmar that needs some basic restoration (filling external/internal cracks, plastering, fixing floor tiles, broken switches, mending doors etc) plus a few garden projects such as a wooden car port. We are heading abroad for work in September and are looking for skilled craftspeople (especially builders) who might be interested in exchanging their skills for a rent free stay at our house near the beach for between 3-6 months. This would suit trades people keen to spend a few months learning to surf or just chilling on the beach. Some knowledge of Spanish would be useful but not essential.WORKING ARRANGEMENT
Between 3 and 6 months from September 2025 until June 2026. We would expect approximately 10 hours of work per week mostly to be done when best suits you. (Some projects might be dependant on external factors affecting when they are done)
LIVING ARRANGEMENT
The house has 3 bedrooms and would best suit a family or max four friends. The house is approximately 900 mentres form the beach in a small village (El Palmar) which has its own supermarket, school and several bars and restauarants. El Palmar is famous for its surf and has many surf schools active all year round.
