Currently there is no electricity (other than a generator) or many other modern facilities, such as toilets... so be prepared for some primitive times! Solar heated water usually makes sure the showers are hot and a compost toilet is no big deal once u get used to it.
We are located in the mountains, close to some popular climbing spots. The ocean is just 7km away, and there is a selection of great beaches along the coast. Santa Cruz and Costa Adeje are both accessible by bus every half an hour or so. It's an agricultural area with a great community spirit among neighbours. Our finca is family friendly and so is the neighborhood.
