Kaliyoga Italy is looking for three volunteers

Location: Puglia, Italy

Kaliyoga Italy is looking for three volunteers to help us run our first retreat season in Italy (Puglia).

One helper from April 12th - July 26th, a second helper from May 17th - July 16th and the third helper (this helper must be a fully qualified, experienced massage therapist) from April 12th - July 26th.

Helpers receive accommodation in a bell tent, use of an indoor bathroom, three meals a day, one yoga class a day, and the chance to learn from all angles how a successful yoga retreat centre is run. Massage therapists earn €25 per 1 hr massage.

Please note that the Kaliyoga karma yoga scheme is definitely not for the faint-hearted! Helpers give us at least 6 hours voluntary work a day in return for bed, board & one yoga class per day. Rather than being interested in how much you love yoga, how long you have been practicing or how spiritual you are, we are more interested in how hard you can work and how efficient a worker you are. The work of a helper at Kaliyoga Retreat is very intense and mostly involves kitchen duties - preparing breakfast, clearing breakfast, helping the chef in the kitchen, hosting guests and there is A LOT of washing up! All our helpers must be kitchen trained. Retreats run for 7 days (Sat-Sat) and helpers have 1 day off. I only tell you this as we only want to work with people who are very hard working, dedicated, very grounded and passionate to learn the day-to-day business of how a successful yoga retreat works.
