We need people to facilitate community based activities and services in the BAAS Community Centre in the North of Greece. An average of 100 displaced people and people on the move make use of the services offered at the Community Centre every day through the free clothes shop, social activities, creative atelier, community kitchen, kids space, washing services and so on...

WORKING ARRANGEMENT:
We need people to facilitate community based activities and services in the BAAS Community Centre.
(teaching, sewing or cooking for and with other people and help out at the free clothes shop, social activities, creative atelier, community kitchen, kids space, washing services and so on... )
LIVING ARRANGEMENT:
During your participation in our project in Ioannina, you can live in an accomodation from BAAS for 20 euros per week. The house is located in the center of Ioannina and is two minutes walk from the lake. It includes a common room with a kitchen, a small courtyard, two bathrooms, and two bedrooms. In general, the level of privacy and material comfort in the shared apartment is probably below what you are used to at home, which requires tolerance and respect. At the same time, it is very enriching to live with other people and to spend the evenings after work cooking, playing games, discussing, watching movies, dancing, making music, knitting (and much more) together.
