In October 2017 we bought a camping along the border of the river Lot, department Lot, France.
The campsite stretches out along the border of the river for about 1km (1/2 Nm) with a beautiful potential in a breath taking landscape.
Due to sad circumstances the former owner left the campsite behind in a terrible state of maintenance.
Last winter we started the renovation project that comprises bit by bit all buildings, gites and chalets at the premises, including the infra structure.

What kind of jobs can you expect?
Off-season we need everything from cleaning buildings, high pressure rinsing, painting, carpenting jobs, building jobs with cement or concrete, plumbing electricity, groundwork, repairing roads on the campiste and so on.
Beside that we have some 30000m2 of forest so there is always need to cut trees, trimming trees on the campsite, bushmowing, gras mowing, planting and protecting young plants and flowers etc. Last but not least there are always the daily householding things to do like coocking, vacuume cleaning, just name it.

During the season, our campsite is open from April to the end of September, we focus on care for our visitors. Serve them, entertain a bit and above all: ensure that the sanitary facilities are clean.
We reduce noisy work like chainsaws to a minimum. Ofcourse grasmowing remains neccessary. Further helping with preparing food and serving food and drinks on the terras and preparing take-away. And then everything else that visitors come up with. So also socializing is an important aspect of campinglife in summer. All volunteers will have a chalet to live in with kitchen shower toilet etc. Hence we take care for daily meals and softdrinks.
