Holistic Healing in Himalayas (HHH) is a small family-run initiative based in a peaceful village near Pokhara, surrounded by mountains, forests, and traditional local life, yet close to the city. We host travelers and volunteers who want to experience simple Himalayan living, mindfulness, and community connection while contributing to meaningful local activities.

Our vision is to align ( commerce, community, and conservation ) creating tourism that supports local livelihoods, respects nature, and builds awareness about sustainable living. We are gradually working with the local school, youth clubs, and village committee to contribute to small community activities, while also learning about the surrounding forest, wildlife habitats, and local ecology so that, over time, we can help protect and improve the natural environment around us.

Currently, we are developing two main projects. First, we are preparing a traditional Nepali mud-and-wood house on a hilltop to become a cultural stay where visitors can experience authentic Nepali village life. Second, we are building our **Holistic Garden**, where volunteers help plant herbal plants, fruits, and nature-friendly vegetation, maintain a small pond ecosystem, and support our long-term goal of creating a permaculture garden. In the future, simple eco huts will allow volunteers to stay there, live close to the land, garden, relax, and reconnect with nature.

Volunteers joining us become part of a slow, meaningful journey learning, sharing, building, and growing together with the land and the community.

WORKING ARRANGEMENT

Tasks
Volunteers can help with gardening, planting, simple maintenance, preparing accommodation spaces, and daily support work depending on ongoing needs. You are welcome to contribute with any skills you have such as photography, social media, creative work, or organizing activities. Helping with your own skills is always appreciated. Along with tasks, we often explore the village together, do gardening activities, forest walks, river walks, short hikes around the hills, and sometimes visit nearby waterfalls, with beautiful views of the Annapurna mountain range from hilltops.

Working Hours
Working time is usually around 2 hours per day, flexible depending on the activities and season.

Preferred Length of Stay
The preferred stay is at least 1 week, and longer stays are warmly welcome for those who wish to connect more deeply with the place, community, and nature.

LIVING ARRANGEMENT

Volunteers stay in a simple, cozy village house surrounded by mountains and peaceful nature, where you can enjoy birds, fresh air, and quiet local life. Our maximum capacity is 7 guests at a time.

We share local Nepali meals (Dal, Bhat), and a kitchen is available for volunteers who wish to cook their own food.
