Hi there we are currently looking for volunteers for the breakfast shift and/or the evening shift!

Breakfast shift 6am-12pm
Help set up the restaurant and buffet area, chopping fruit, greeting customers, clearing tables - general waiting duties.
Evening shift 4.30pm-11pm
Help set up the restaurant, greet customers, take orders, clear tables - general waiting duties.

You will be working 6 days a week with one off day.

We will especially need volunteers during November and December as that is when our high season hits. Any experience in hospitality is a bonus but we will provide full training. Anyone with creativity is also most welcome to help with promoting the business and the continuing maintenance of the restaurant.

We will staff accommodation for all people wanting to volunteer at our location. We provide one room shared between two people depending and each room consists of one bathroom. Occasionally, you might be sharing with one other member of Nest Rooftop, and at times, you might find yourself living alone. Depending on which shift you will be working, you will always have one meal provided for you per day. If you are a vegetarian, we will make sure you are provided a separate meal, all of which is local Malaysian cuisine.

If you're a morning person then the breakfast shift is perfect for you - you will be finishing work as the rest of Langkawi gets up! If you're more of a night owl, then you can spend the day chilling at the beach or exploring the island and still finish work in time to hit the beach bars at night!

Spend your off day zipping between Langkawi's 99 islands on a jet ski, paragliding, trekking the mountains and waterfalls, relaxing at the beach or enjoying the amazing food of Malaysia, not to mention the duty free booze and chocolate.

We at Nest Rooftop our a team, and most important a family, where many of our volunteers come from around the world. Currently we have working for us a mixture from, America, Iran, England, Portugal, New Zealand, and Malaysia.
