Our home is within an offgrid community, Bindarrabi, which is situated amongst Koreelah National Park on the QLD/NSW border. We are at the head of the river systems and the waterways are beautiful to enjoy.
We are aiming towards being self sufficient, regenerative and living with the land.
We are passionate gardeners and herbalists and our main focus is working with the plants to nurture the soil whilst establish agroforestry food systems to feed the community, as well as producing herbal medicines to support the grassroots healthcare system.
Volunteers will gain an insightful experience of how we are attempting to live cooperatively with Nature.
Work will be enjoyable and dependant on the projects that are occurring when you visit - mostly involving natural building projects such as clay rendering or cob building, syntropic agroforestry gardening, caretaking of the children and housework like cooking or cleaning.
All of our guests will be treated like family, and made to feel at home during their stay. Let us know of your needs and any requests necessary during your stay.
We eat organic wholefoods and cook our meals on the fire. We eat animal products though can cater for vegan and vegetarian if necessary.
