I am very interested in having a volunteer come to my land to help me work it. I am setting it up to be self sustaining with an eventual goal of being energy independent. I only grow food organically and do not use pesticides. I only use natural fertilizers. I need help starting up chickens growing more vegetables and chicken feed. I have a very nice spare bedroom that can house two people and a trailer that can house another person. I only speak English. Pets might be
acceptable here depending on what they were as I breed dogs.
Un-neutered male dogs would not be welcome. I can provide
transportation to town and to bus lines when needed. I have a long history with Couchsurfers.com and my profile there will show what a great host I am. My land is just outside Yosemite National Park at 3,100 elevation with breathtaking 100 mile views. I would expect 15 to 20 of work per week and I would provide meals lodging and transportation as well as living expenses. Volunteers would have lots of time to explore and spend time visiting Yosemite National Park.
Volunteers can stay any where from a week to several months. I am planning on making a green house so a winter stay over is a possibility. I have a wood stove and can use help with gathering firewood.
