We are a small family run home hostel. We are located on the USA side of Niagara Falls, only 1 block from the Niagara Gorge and a 15 minute walk to Niagara Falls State Park. Our mission is to be the number-one choice for Niagara Falls travelers who prefer affordable and comfortable accommodations in a warm, friendly home environment to the sterile, lonely atmospheres of large commercial hostels and expensive hotels and motels. We are looking for enthusiastic people to volunteer in our small guesthouse in Niagara Falls. Volunteers must be able to commit to a minimum of 3 weeks but we'd prefer longer. We are looking for volunteers for the 2023 season (April - Oct).
WORKING ARRANGEMENT
The working time is approximately 3-4 hours a day (from 11 am to 3 pm at the latest), with one day off per week. Primary responsibility is cleaning the rooms and the house. There is also some light gardening and special projects as needed.
LIVING ARRANGEMENT
We have accommodations for you in an attic apartment that would be your space that you may share with 1 other helper. You have full access to the downstairs showers as well as the kitchen. We also provide a weekly stipend of $100 for food. The supermarket is 3 blocks away. We are 1 mile from Niagara Falls State Park and Buffalo is 30 min. away by car. There is plenty of both nature and culture to enjoy in the area.
