A social project located in Cusco, Peru, dedicated to providing alternative education to children, adolescents and adults. Aldea Yanapay intends to better the lives of the Peruvian people by giving them alternative ways of living and loving.
The Yanapay schools are intended for children aged 5 to 15 years old, and are in session 6 days a week.
All GV volunteers working with children are encouraged to stay for four weeks minimum. Aldea Yanapay prefers longer-term volunteer stints.
