Location: San Miguel de Allende, Mexico
Our Sustainable Development Center is located on 15 acres of land outside of San Miguel de Allende in the Sierra Madre Mountains. We teach primarily alternative building workshops using earthbag construction and cob. We have recently planted a large organic garden and medicinal and culinary herb garden. We have also planted over 150 trees in our reforestation project. Volunteers will help in all ongoing projects. Please see our website for more information. We teach earthbag construction, humanure composting system, SODIS water purification, solar oven and thermal bag cooking, and gardening skills.
