Volunteers Needed for a Babies Home in Uganda

Chrystal Children’s Center is a registered Children’s Center as a Non-Government Organization and an Approved Children’s Home.The Center rescues, rehabilitates and later resettles or finds Ugandan foster families for each child.
No previous childcare experience is required, as you will be volunteering alongside our local placement staff. We expect all our volunteers to be patient, kind and loving and treat their new role in our family with seriousness, creativity and diligence.

WORKING ARRANGEMENT
Our volunteers undertake the following activities:
bathing and changing diapers,
preparing special food according to children's dietary requirements and feeding,
reading stories and doing arts and crafts,
taking children for fresh year and a walk,
therapeutic playtime and early cerebral stimulation
taking Hiv Positive children to doctor's appointments
Helping in giving medicines for the HIV Positive Children..
shopping and helping with chores
Administration roles.
Marketing and fundraising.
Educational activities, such as basic English, Math, Health/Hygiene, Reading and Writing
LIVING ARRANGEMENT
Lunch at work is provided and through a partner company we organize Accommodation
