Sharing Is Caring

Location: Iganga , Uganda
Disability Child Watch is a Community Based Organisation working to support children living with different abilities to attain a good life just like the rest of other children in the communities.

We have exciting programs that will make your volunteer experience a memorable one; feel free to join us today in:-

Teaching: you can become a teaching assistant at our project and support the schooling programs in English, Maths, science or social studies. The classes are of mixed abilities. You can also train the pupils in sports and other talents within the school and the project areas in the wider community. More awaits your arrival friends.

Farming:- as a way of reducing the cost of running the project, we are taking time to do sustainable small scale farming. Part of our harvest is used to feed the children and the staff and the rest is sold to cater for financial needs of the organization. Therefore, you can come over and share the farming experience with both the children and the local team.

Networking, Marketing and Fundraising:- we would love to have our works reach as many more people as possible, therefore we invite different volunteers with skills in networking and marketing to spread the works of our project to various parts and seek more partners. Help us to fundraise for the project activities because the costs go beyond the reach of our abilities.

Educational programs:- one can come and join us here in skills development for the young mothers, research and health education so that we create a sustainable change in the communities we serve.

Physical work:- we seek for Volunteers who can help us with physical works at the project including helping in cleaning the compound, serving meals, building and farming within the project farm.
