Educare Project (KEILAH JUNIOR SCHOOL)

Keilah community Childcare Uganda. We are located in Eastern side of the kampala city which is about 20 kilometers from the city center. the school is one of the organisation project supporting the vulnerable with education and it has got 91 beneficiaries with classes from baby to primary one.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for volunteers who are committed and understand the need to empower for the vulnerable through education to help us teach English, Reading and writing.
Carry out home visits and help at the garden where we get food for the school children

You will be working for 15 hours a week from Monday to Friday and rest for 2 days being Saturday and Sunday.Our volunteering period has minimum of one moth.

Accommodation is available; we have two single rooms available for accommodation but not self contained, mobile internet is available,three meals available a day you will be able to enjoy local dishes, move to the market to purchase ingredients to be used in the kitchen and you have access to the kitchen.

you will use public means of transport to the project which is around 4 kilometers from place of residence.

Volunteering at keilah community Childcare Uganda does not mean work but also time to have a new experience of visits and touring. Uganda is known as the pearl of Africa and of recent has been re-branded as country gifted by nature, for we are blessed with beautiful natural features like mountains, lakes ,water falls, rivers, wild life . You will be able visit some of them have an experience.
The people of Uganda are welcoming and love sharing and the children love following you as you move and the community people love calling you "MUZUNGU" meaning white person and they love sharing their past life as they expect you to do the same.
