Environmental and girl child empowerment help needed in Takawiri island,kenya

Location: Homa Bay County, Kenya

At the moment, we are working on two important projects that I would love to share with you. Firstly, we are dedicated to managing plastic waste in our community. We believe that plastic waste is a significant environmental problem, and we are committed to reducing its impact on our island. Our goal is to create a sustainable approach to waste management, and we would love your help in achieving this.

Secondly, we are focused on the development of young girls in our community. We believe that empowering young girls is key to creating a brighter future for our island. Our project aims to provide educational resources, mentorship opportunities, and safe spaces for girls to learn and grow.

As a volunteer you would have the opportunity to get involved in both of these projects. Whether you are interested in environmental conservation or girl child development, we have something for you. We welcome volunteers of all backgrounds and experiences, and we believe that everyone has something valuable to offer.

WORKING ARRANGEMENT

We do our daily routine work as from 8:30 am from Monday to Friday . We work for 4-5 hours a day .

LIVING ARRANGEMENT

We provide three meals a day and bed for our visitors and volunteers.
