My name is Jacob Mwangangi muthui ,Am the Founder of Bottom up Educational Center Website which Aims at Assisting the vulnerable and needy children from Poor background to have their basic education catered for and also to assist them further their studies .The School started as a Religious project but to some point the Religion withdrew its support and it is at this point where i found it worthy to look for some assistance from good friends,Wellwishers and people of Good heart to help these kids. The center is situated at Mackinnon Road Along the busy Nairobi-Mombasa Highway.
THE HISTORY OF BOTTOM UP EDUCATION CENTER
As stated before the school was in the run of a kind of Religious group who were on their mission in conducting a free HIV/Aids awareness. In mid weeks
and weekends they were conducting a kind of Service due to their religious beliefs and in most cases their service was filled up with young 🔒[Complete verification to view link] sometimes they came to realize that most of children had not been attending learning 🔒[Complete verification to view link] they interrogated,they found that children had difficulty to attend school due to distance they have to cover to access the school which was about 3 kilometers. Secondly the living hardships makes majority of the residences not to afford all what is required for their kids to be retained in the few available school, most of them live a hand to mouth 🔒[Complete verification to view link] it was very dufficult for those children at a age of 4 years to access 🔒[Complete verification to view link] pushed them to start a temporary classes so as the kids to have somewhere where they could quencher their education 🔒[Complete verification to view link] as the population kept on increasing day after day they saw the urge of it being an education center and we ended up naming it The Bottom up Educational which
is situated along Nairobi- Mombasa highway at Mackinnon Road, Kwale county .
WORKING ARRANGEMENT
🔒[Complete verification to view link] are looking for volunteers to assist in Establishing and constructing permanent Classrooms for our 🔒[Complete verification to view link] the available Resources in our community
🔒[Complete verification to view link] are also looking forward to have people of good heart to connect water to the center as water is a very basic need for children
🔒[Complete verification to view link] will also be happy to have some volunteers to provide us with learning resources(stationaries),
🔒[Complete verification to view link] are also delighted to inform that we will be glad if someone can volunteer in language exchange and teach our learners foreigh languages like spanish,Germany and French.
🔒[Complete verification to view link] also have an active Porridge program due to our young kids who cannot sustain the hunger upto lunch time,Any volunteer who can Help in this too can boost our Little we normally have.
The volunteers are only supposed to be in the center from monday to friday at least 4 to 5 hours but no restriction if they decide to stay longer.
LIVING ARRANGEMENT
We are providing a free accommodation and all meals per day,

NB 2. We are near the eve of game reserves and in sometimes we have free visit of Elephants thus giving our volunteer a chance to see some during some Evenings,,, though not a common case.
