Volunteer Teaching Korean in East-Timor

Location: Dili, East-Timor

Looking for an experience abroad? We are actively looking for Korean speakers who would like to teach Korean in East-Timor. No background experience in teaching is required. Just a positive attitude and an open mindset.

I am working at AHHA Education, an educational NGO based in 4 countries: East-Timor, Cambodia, Laos and Japan.

AHHA Education was founded in 2000 and has educated more than 250,000 students since. We provide high quality, scientific, practice-based and holistic education to the underserved and our programs are targeted to develop one’s potential in a holistic way.

Over the past years we have won a couple of awards, like:
“Top 10 Finalist of the Global Teacher Price 2015, Varkey Foundation”
“Most Innovative Development Project 2013-2014, Japanese award, GDN”
“Personality of the year award 2012, Better Malaysia Foundation”

We recruit volunteers for periods of 3 months or longer. We provide accommodation (shared dormitory) and food (local food - 3 meals a day) for free.
