PROJECT DESCRIPTION
A purpose-designed rural community is being created on the Tasman Peninsula, 100 kilometres from Hobart, and just 10 minutes from the historic site of Port Arthur.
We ask for 6 hours of work per day, 6 days per week. The work varies and includes housekeeping, food service, gardening, and development of the Village, which involves food production, landscaping, and building. The work is sometimes basic and physical, a good way to get or keep fit. We can also assist with day counts towards Working Holiday Visa extensions, subject to Department of Immigration requirements.
Our place can suit long-term stays, especially for those looking for a quiet place while writing, studying remotely, or practising natural therapies. We also have a natural therapy treatment room available for guests and the local community. Working holiday arrangements are for a minimum of 4 weeks, though some helpers stay for several months.We ask for 6 hours of work per day, 6 days per week.
