PROJECT DESCRIPTION
I live in a quiet 2-bedroom villa unit right in the heart of Ivanhoe, just 10 km from the Melbourne CBD. My place is within walking distance of the train station, buses, library, shops, wine bar, and gym. I am a friendly, social, 42-year-old busy professional running my own business in the healthcare sector, which includes some work from home. I also love heading out to social events, festivals, pubs and bars, and keeping fit. I don't tend to have lots of people over visiting, as I am more often going out. I enjoy having music on from time to time and I am a big fan of electronic music like techno, house, drum and bass, dubstep, trap, and break beats.
The arrangement I am seeking is approximately 2 hours of work per day in exchange for free accommodation. I am looking for someone 25 to 50 years old who can speak English fluently, so I can also get some admin support if needed for my business. I am thinking of a 1 to 2 month stay to start with.
The work includes choosing tiles, a shower, vanity, and other items for a bathroom renovation, including getting samples and matching colors. Once a combination is found that I like, I will need the person to buy the items so I am ready to go with the renovation. I will also need furniture for some rooms, which I will pay for, as well as rugs, curtains, blinds, and things like pictures on walls. I am wanting second-hand furniture and items to be used wherever possible, so you can have fun looking for bargains. We can even go shopping together if needed, or hang out over a glass of wine to discuss ideas.
Aside from interior design and decoration, other jobs such as cleaning, gardening, cooking, and errands may also be requested as needed.
I am seeking someone like-minded who can fit in and be a housemate, and whom I connect with personally, because I will need to like this person's vibe and styling to trust their advice.

LIVING ARRANGEMENT
You will have a quiet room in my villa unit. Please note that bills, including gas, electricity, water, and WiFi, are not included and will be split with me 50/50. You will pay for and cook your own food. I have chosen this arrangement so that there is an incentive to be as environmentally friendly and efficient as possible in terms of minimizing consumption of energy. I can be out a lot, so I am not available to cook meals for someone. I could be open to negotiating the bills for more work hours, however.I am seeking someone like-minded who can fit in and be a housemate, and whom I connect with personally, because I will need to like this person's vibe and styling to trust their advice.
