Rural Work Exchange & Catalan Culture at Can Traver

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
We are looking for people who would like to spend some time at Can Traver de Besalú, a large rural house surrounded by nature in La Garrotxa, Catalonia.
We offer accommodation and meals as part of a cultural and rural exchange experience.
You can take part in preparing the house and shared spaces for the arrival of guests and travellers, keeping common areas pleasant and organised, helping in the vegetable garden and outdoors, painting, small maintenance tasks and different projects around the property.
You can also help in the kitchen and learn about Mediterranean vegetarian cooking, local ingredients and some traditional Catalan recipes.
It is a great opportunity to learn or practise Catalan, the language of Catalonia and La Garrotxa, discover the local culture, meet other travellers and visit places such as Besalú, Banyoles and the natural surroundings of the region.
We are looking for active, responsible and flexible people who are happy to participate and share the experience of Can Traver.
