Help wanted with childcare and household 🏠 support in Spain

Hi there, I moved to Spain almost 4 years ago with my 8-year-old boy. Combining my professional activities and social life with my kid and household is not an easy task, so I am looking for some help. My son is very energetic, but he easily adapts to new people and is very outgoing. Between us, we speak Spanish, but I also speak English, Dutch, French, and some Portuguese. My son speaks Spanish and English at an intermediate level, and also understands some Dutch.Tasks will mainly be cleaning and other domestic services, and looking after my kid when I need to go out, whether for work appointments or social events. Examples of tasks include cooking lunch, taking my kid to school or activities, picking him up, putting him to bed, entertaining him (his favourite activity is playing football), and general housekeeping like cleaning and ironing.

I usually work from home or any place nearby with an internet connection. I will need your help mostly in the afternoon and evening. If you are staying long-term, your schedule might be different from week to week, but in general, we should be able to work something out that suits both of us, depending on the purpose of your stay. For example, if you want to take a language course, it should not be a problem to have mornings off to attend classes. On average, we expect about 5 hours per day, with give and take flexibility so we can both be comfortable.You will have a private room. You will have 2 days off per week, one during the week and one during the weekend. Healthy food is provided according to your preferences, and I have had volunteers with all kinds of diets and it has never been a problem.

You will have plenty of free time to work on your own projects, go out yourself, or simply enjoy the region, the sun, and the sea. If you are responsible, energetic, and enjoy spending time with children, we would love to welcome you to our home <3
