Help needed with gardening, stay in your own private Spanish Countryside Villa

Location: El Perelló, Spain

Enjoy staying at this Spanish countryside villa in the middle of the mountains. The tranquility here is like no other. The property is situated about 10 km from the beach town l'Ampolla. It is also close to Delta de l'Ebre which is famous for it's beautiful landscape, rice farming, exotic birds and beaches.

Me and my partner bought this property about a year ago and have been a bit overwhelmed with all the work it requires. Therefore we would like to have volunteers that could help us clean the land and at some point we would like to set up a small scale permaculture garden.

We are completely off-grid which requires mindful use of electricity and water. There are many things people don't know about off-grid living and this is a chance to get an insight into that.

The property is 10 km away from public transport so volunteers would be more free if they had their own car while others are happy to stay in paradise, we can also offer a bicycle.

This is a place for people who want to tune out of their busy lives and recharge their batteries in nature.

WORKING ARRANGEMENT

We mainly need help with gardening but If volunteers have any special skills such as painting, building etc. then that would be very helpful. We would also be very interested in having a volunteer who has knowledge about permaculture and could help start setting that up.
We ask that our volunteers work 3-4 hours a day in stead of the normal 4-5 hours (5 days a week) because we do not provide cooked meals. However we do provide some food and our volunteers have their own fully equipped kitchen for cooking.

LIVING ARRANGEMENT

There are two houses on our property, we live in one of them and the other one we offer to volunteers. It is a lovely new and bright house with wonderful views and you feel the peacefulness of being in the middle of nowhere.
