PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The Batoro Project, short for "Back To Roots," is a unique community space nestled between the mountains and the northern coastline of Tenerife, near a small town untouched by tourism . 🔒[Verify to view address],000 m² sustainable eco-farming and permaculture project is evolving into an educational group experience and healing template, featuring a tropical fruit garden with mango, papaya, lemon, orange, and avocado trees .
We are building yurts in our eco-glamping area and creating a workshop space to practise yoga, dance, meditation, and other activities . The project is a place to come to yourself, to connect with nature, to learn about community, and to get a profound sense of what it means to be part of a living organism. Since starting in 2017, over 600 people, mainly between 18 and 35 years old, have spent time here, often calling it a life-changing experience .
We are currently looking for volunteers to join our dance project. This is a wonderful opportunity to share the joy of movement while being part of a conscious and creative community.
You would dance around 14 hours per week, with the schedule designed to let you truly experience the island and the project life . Whether you are an experienced Salsa dancer, or simply someone with a passion for dance and a warm, enthusiastic spirit, your energy would be welcome here.
The finca is located in the north of Tenerife, surrounded by the wild beauty of the island. On your days off, you can explore the volcanic landscapes, the lush forests, and the beautiful beaches that make this island so special.

WORKING ARRANGEMENT
You would be involved in dance activities, potentially helping to teach or inspire others. The goal is to share the joy of partner dancing with the local community and visitors, making dance accessible to everyone . We embrace a new, simplified form of Salsa called Salsita, which is easy for beginners to pick up quickly, making the project inclusive and fun for all ages and abilities .You would dance around 14 hours per week, with the schedule designed to let you truly experience the island and the project life . Whether you are an experienced Salsa dancer, or simply someone with a passion for dance and a warm, enthusiastic spirit, your energy would be welcome here.
LIVING ARRANGEMENT
You will be staying at the Batoro Project finca, in the eco-glamping area . Accommodation is simple and comfortable, with a daily contribution of around 6 euros to cover costs .
