PROJECT DESCRIPTION
So here's the deal. We're a small alternative community of 8 people living together in a big old house in Berlin, and honestly, it's always a bit of a beautiful mess around here. We've got artists, musicians, a couple of circus folks, a few travelers who never quite left, and a rotating cast of random friends, neighbors, and strangers who wander through our kitchen at all hours. There's always someone making tea, someone fixing something, someone playing an instrument in the corner, and probably a dog or two curled up on the sofa (yours is welcome too, by the way).
We're looking for someone to join the chaos for about a month—though we're flexible if you fall in love with the place and want to stay longer or shorter, just talk to us. What we really need is a pair of willing hands to help with building repairs and general maintenance. The house is old and quirky and she needs love. Maybe it's sanding a window frame, patching a wall, helping with some painting, fixing a squeaky door, or building a shelf for the growing collection of spices. Nothing too skilled—we're not expecting a professional carpenter—just someone who isn't afraid to get their hands dirty and learn as they go. We'll figure it out together, and there's always someone around to lend a hand or offer questionable advice.
In exchange, you get a bed in a shared room (or a cozy corner if we get creative), all your meals—yes, we're vegetarian here, so expect lots of lentils, roasted veggies, good bread, and the occasional kitchen experiment—and full access to our chaotic, loving, never-boring community life. We eat together most nights, long dinners that stretch into conversations about everything and nothing. We go to the park when the sun is out, we have spontaneous jam sessions, we argue about politics and laugh about it five minutes later. It's messy and loud and wonderful.
