PROJECT DESCRIPTION
We are looking for someone fit and strong to join us in our restoration projects in the beautiful Creuse region of central France. La Souterraine is a charming medieval town surrounded by rolling hills, forests, and rivers, rich in history and architectural heritage.
The work involves plasterboarding, plastering, cement work, and other restoration tasks. You will have the company of two experienced restorers who will guide you and share their knowledge. It is a great opportunity to learn new skills and be part of meaningful projects that bring old buildings back to life.
We also run an estate agency, and if you are interested, you can learn about that side of our work as well. Whether you prefer hands-on building work or want to explore the property world, there is something for everyone here.
La Souterraine is a peaceful place with lots to explore. On your days off, you can visit the nearby medieval villages, walk along the river, or simply enjoy the quiet beauty of the French countryside. It is also well-connected by train to other parts of France.

WORKING ARRANGEMENT
We ask for around 5 hours of work per day, with flexibility depending on the project and the weather. The work is physical and requires a good level of fitness, but it is also rewarding and varied. Some days you might be plastering, other days you might be preparing materials, doing cement work, or helping with smaller tasks. The atmosphere is collaborative and friendly, and we value people who are motivated and willing to learn.LIVING ARRANGEMENT
You will have a nice room with a comfortable bed, and good company. Meals are provided and shared together, and we enjoy cooking and eating as a group. The food is simple, local, and often made with fresh ingredients from the area.
