Permaculture & natural pool project near Aix-en-Provence, France

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
I live in a lovely country house just 5 kilometres outside Aix-en-Provence, in the beautiful south of France. Surrounded by olive trees, lavender fields, and the gentle rhythm of Provençal life, this is a peaceful place to slow down and reconnect with the land.
I have started developing parts of the land into food-growing areas using permaculture principles as a guide. The gardens are growing, the soil is waking up, and there is always something to plant, mulch, or harvest. A couple of years ago, I also began creating a natural bathing pool, and I would really love to finish this project. It is a beautiful, living system that blends swimming with nature, and it needs some love and attention to reach completion.
I am also not linked to main sewage and water drainage systems, so I am in the process of investigating ways to treat black and grey waters using composting worms, alongside reedbed and swale systems. Help with building structures for this would be greatly appreciated. Whether you have skills in digging, building, planting, designing, or just a strong pair of hands and a curious mind, your enthusiasm is welcome.
Aix-en-Provence is a stunning city with markets, fountains, cafés, and a vibrant cultural scene. Bicycles are available for you to explore the surrounding countryside, and there is a bus stop nearby for easy access to the city and beyond. On your days off, you can visit the Calanques, the Luberon, the lavender fields, or simply enjoy the peaceful Provençal landscape.

WORKING ARRANGEMENT
I would envisage around 4 days of work per week. The tasks vary depending on the season and the weather, but they may include gardening, building, digging, planting, mulching, maintaining the land, and working on the natural pool and water treatment systems. The work is hands-on and rewarding, and you will see real progress as the projects take shape. I am happy to teach and learn alongside you, so no special skills are required, just a willingness to get stuck in.LIVING ARRANGEMENT
You will have a private bedroom in the house, with shared access to the living spaces, kitchen, and bathroom. Meals are provided and shared together, made with fresh, local, and often homegrown ingredients. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, and I enjoy good conversation and shared meals.
