Help renovate a mountain hostel in the Ardèche, France 🏔️🔨

We are a happy family of 5 girls and a mum, living in the mountains of the south-east of France, in a place called the Ardèche. We are currently renovating an old building to turn it into a mountain hostel for hikers walking through the area. Unfortunately, we are running out of money as the project goes on, and we would love to host volunteers to help us out.All the biggest jobs are done, but many little things still need doing. This includes sink and toilet fitting, painting, making basic cabinets out of wood to fit the bathroom sinks, and the biggest remaining job is renovating an entire apartment, though we have more time for that. We are looking for people who are practical, hands-on, and happy to contribute to different tasks. We really need at least 2 trained people who can train the others and guide the work to be done, as we don't have much knowledge about it ourselves. If no one here can do it, we will pay a professional. You can work around 5 hours a day, 5 days a week, and then be free to do many lovely hikes in our beautiful landscapes.We can host up to 12 people at a time, as the bedrooms are ready and we have many beds. You will get a nice bed, a hot shower, and a good homemade dinner, mainly organic and locally sourced food, mostly vegetarian. The atmosphere is family-oriented, warm, and welcoming.
