Free Accommodation In Central Paris - Cultural Exchange

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Bonjour! We are a vibrant, open-minded family of four (two parents and two children, aged 6 and 9) living in the heart of Paris. We are a bicultural household (French and American) and we love the energy that international travelers bring into our home.
We speak French and English at home, but we are thirsty to learn about new cultures, languages, and, most importantly, *food*! We are looking for a friendly, responsible, and easy-going individual to join our family for a month-long cultural immersion.
Your Role: The "Cultural Exchange Helper"
This isn't just about chores; it's about connection. We want you to be a part of our daily life. We are looking for someone who is proactive and happy to share their traditions.
Daily Activities (Approx. 5 hours):
1. The "MasterChef" Exchange (1 hour): We want to learn to cook your favorite dishes from your home country! Once or twice a week, we’d love for you to take the lead in the kitchen to cook a meal for the family. We’ll handle the shopping, you bring the recipes and the secrets!
2. *Light Housekeeping (2 hours): Help us keep the household running smoothly. This involves:
- Loading/unloading the dishwasher and doing dishes.
- Helping to set the table and clear up after meals.
- Helping to prepare simple family meals (chopping veggies, etc.).
3. Doggy Duty (30min): We have a friendly, energetic dog who needs a daily walk. He is great company and knows the neighborhood well!
4. Language & Play (1 hour): We would love if you could spend some time speaking your native language with us and the kids. This can be through conversation, games, or reading stories. We are looking for a relaxed, organic exchange rather than formal tutoring.
What We Offer:
- Private Guest Room: A comfortable, cozy, and private bedroom just for you in our Parisian apartment.
- All Meals Provided: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are on us! We usually eat together as a family, so you will always have a seat at our table.
- Immersion: A genuine look into daily Parisian life.
- Free Time: Weekends are completely yours to explore the city of lights, museums, and cafes.
- Bike: We have a spare bike you can use to explore the city.
We Are Looking For:
- A positive, adaptable, and independent person who likes children and dogs.
- Someone who is clean, tidy, and proactive (we don't want to ask you to do things—you just see what needs to be done!).
- A good sense of humor and a willingness to participate in family life.
- Basic English or French is helpful, but enthusiasm is more important!
