PROJECT DESCRIPTION
We are a small family-run campground, and we are looking for a campground host or hosts to help us for the season. Our whole family does our part in making sure that everyone who stays at Blue Gate Farm has a wonderful, relaxing time. We generally have a very laid-back lifestyle, but of course, there are things that must get done. We value creativity and love to hear ideas and help implement them if we can.

We run a uniquely wild camping experience with limited facilities and infrastructure. We refuse to concrete anything. Our goal is to bring camping back to what it should be about, getting back into nature. Our guests are the coolest travellers from all over the world and love to share stories of their adventures, and hear about yours.

WORKING ARRANGEMENT
We expect the campground host to put in about 25 hours a week, with 2 days off. The most important part of the job will be to welcome and socialize with guests when we can't. We value creativity and friendly attitudes. The ability to make small talk with new people and be attentive to their needs is of utmost importance. Set jobs will be to check and clean the toilet twice a day, 5 days a week, clean the pool twice a week, and use the yard strimmer for 1 hour, once a week. We also work remotely from home, so this position would also be good for a digital nomad, as long as you are able to get the required work done.LIVING ARRANGEMENT
As a campground host, you will be set up in your very own campsite, which you can decorate and arrange to make it comfortable for you. We want you to feel at home and like you are part of the Blue Gate family. We will provide the tent, bedding, and camp kitchen. We are close enough to Sofia that you can easily do a city day or two, but get back to our relaxed pace of life in about an hour. We think this position would be ideal for a couple, as it may get a bit lonely if you are all by yourself.
