PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Since the Youth Centre project was launched 9 years ago, it has successfully reached its first major goals, thanks to the incredible support of our local and international partners, and the endless dedication of our coordinators and volunteers 💪
We have sent most of the disadvantaged, poor, and 🔒[Verify to view address], where they can gain a proper education and begin to integrate into society. However, school fees are expensive, and we cover them entirely. So while we continue providing education to the children living at the Youth Centre, we are also ramping up fundraising activities to keep every child in school.
This Centre is proof of what volunteerism and public-private partnerships can achieve in social development. It is more than just a school. It is a space for exchange, for learning, for belonging. Our vision from the start has been to create a place where disadvantaged children can study, gain vocational skills, and feel part of a community. But we also wanted it to be a meeting point for Vietnamese youth and international volunteers to share knowledge, culture, and experiences through workshops and daily life together. What began as the Youth House school has now grown into a true Youth Centre.
The work is hands-on and heart-led. We organise activities for disadvantaged children, many of whom live illegally along the Red River or attend the nearby school. It is joyful, chaotic, and deeply meaningful.
