# Family Volunteering & Cultural Immersion in a Real Thai Village
Bring your family to rural Thailand and experience authentic Thai village life far away from the usual tourist destinations.
At Volunt2Thai, families are welcomed as part of our local community. Parents and children can take part together in meaningful activities while meeting local people and discovering everyday life in Northeast Thailand.
Depending on your interests and the age of your children, you can participate in:
* 📚 English activities with local children
* ⚽ Sports, games and outdoor activities
* 🎨 Arts, crafts and creative projects
* 🎵 Music and cultural activities
* 🌱 Gardening and Food Forest activities
* 🍳 Cooking and baking
* 🤝 Community activities and cultural exchange
* 🏫 Visits to local village schools
No teaching or professional experience is required. We simply ask for an open mind, respect for Thai culture and a willingness to participate.
Families stay at the Volunt2Thai Campus & Cultural Centre, where you can enjoy simple and comfortable accommodation, full board and shared facilities in a peaceful rural setting.
This is not a traditional holiday resort. It is an opportunity to slow down, connect with local people, let your children experience another culture and create meaningful memories together.

Families are introduced to each activity and supported by the Volunt2Thai team. **No previous teaching, farming or professional experience is required.**
The remaining time is free for family time, relaxation, exploring the local area or enjoying the facilities at the Volunt2Thai Campus.
**This is a cultural exchange experience, not paid employment.**
Accommodation is provided in **private bungalows or family rooms**, depending on family size and availability. Rooms are simply but comfortably furnished and include bedding, electricity and access to shared campus facilities. Air conditioning is available for an additional cost.
Families have access to a range of communal spaces, including the outdoor kitchen, clubhouse, Language Café, library, garden, music room, table tennis room and other recreational areas.
**Full board is included:** breakfast, lunch and dinner, plus drinking water.
The campus is located approximately **1.5 hours from Udon Thani** in a peaceful rural area. There are no large shopping centres, nightlife or tourist attractions nearby — this is an opportunity to experience **real Thai village life** and connect with the local community.
Families can use local transportation for project-related activities and organised shopping trips. The Volunt2Thai team is available to help families settle in, understand local customs and enjoy their stay.
