Guest house and community projects in the Kathmandu Valley, Nepal 🏔️

I have a new guest house in a lovely community high above Kathmandu, at the edge of the valley. This village is beautiful and spiritual, with clean air, quiet surroundings, and stunning views of the Himalayan foothills. It is a peaceful escape from the busy city, yet still close enough to explore all that the Kathmandu Valley has to offer.

The guest house is new and welcoming, and I am looking for volunteers who would like to stay here and contribute to the local community. There are schools where you can teach, and community projects involving biomass, environmental initiatives, and other sustainable development efforts. If you have any skills in environmental work, gardening, teaching, or community organizing, you are especially welcome.The work depends on your skills, you could be teaching at the local school, helping with environmental projects, assisting with the guest house, or contributing to community development in other ways. The hours are flexible, and we can discuss what works best for both of us. You will have plenty of time to explore the village, visit nearby temples, walk in the hills, or simply relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.You will have a nice room in the guest house, comfortable and clean. Good food is provided, made from fresh local ingredients. The village is quiet and spiritual, and you will be welcomed warmly by the local community. This is a great opportunity to experience authentic Nepali village life while contributing to meaningful projects.
