English teaching volunteer in Myanaung, Myanmar 📚

Our project is an English Training Centre in the small town of Myanaung, located in the lower part of Myanmar. It takes about 7 hours by bus from Yangon. We do not have enough funds to hire teachers, so we are reaching out to volunteers who can help us provide English education to the local community. This is a meaningful opportunity to make a real difference in a town where access to quality language learning is limited.We expect volunteers to teach 4 hours a day, 5 days a week. The class period runs for about two and a half months, from mid-March to the end of May. If volunteers can stay for the full period, that would be wonderful, but even one month is okay if the full period is too long. We are flexible and appreciate any time you can give.

A house is available for volunteers as accommodation, and we can also provide a sponsor letter for a long stay if needed. Traditional food, fresh vegetables, and fruits are plentiful, so you will eat well and enjoy local flavours. The town is beautiful, with the river and natural landscape all around. About 45 minutes away by car, there is a well-known sightseeing place called Akauk Taung, which locals and foreigners alike visit.Accommodation is provided in a house, simple but comfortable. Meals are not provided, but food is affordable and fresh, and you can easily prepare your own meals. The local community is warm and welcoming, and city people love foreigners very much. You will feel supported and appreciated throughout your stay.
