Collaborative living and co-working space in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

We are a promoters of the sharing economy and collaborative consumption, and we are currently an active place-maker of an environment and lifestyle that integrates life-work balance philosophy and practice. This is a cross between a home-stay, a business centre, and a hackerspace, designed for the benefit of residents, guests, and travellers residing in condominium and apartment buildings. We currently have two such properties in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and we believe this concept can be applied to buildings throughout Malaysia and hopefully internationally. It is a new cultural experience for everyone who comes into contact with the property, which we call a Collaborative Second Home.We are currently seeking temporary helpers with extensive couchsurfing or travelling experience to expand and extend our services to residents, guests, travellers, and participant-investors. Your input would mainly be to talk the walk, while the property is meant to walk the talk, creating a live-work-travel-learn-play environment, or LW-T-LP. This is guaranteed to be a cultural and educational experience on collaborative consumption.

We offer free accommodation and food in exchange for a 6-hour work day, 4 working days per week, for a total of a 24-hour working week. The job primarily involves attending to inquiries about LW-T-LP, reception and housekeeping, and updating websites and blogs. Additional help or involvement in writing a Kindle e-book about the LW-T-LP concept and lifestyle would be rewarded with an additional allowance on a contractual basis.Volunteers can stay at our place for 3 weeks to 3 months. Accommodation is provided in our collaborative living space, along with food. Relevant training will be provided based on the selection process and results as appropriate. You will be part of a dynamic and forward-thinking community, learning and contributing to a new way of living and working.
