PROJECT DESCRIPTION
We are a young couple restoring an old mountain lodge near Puerto Varas, in the beautiful Los Lagos region of southern Chile. Surrounded by forests, lakes, and volcanoes, this place has a special kind of magic. After the Calbuco volcano eruption, our lodge was damaged in some parts and is not yet workable. But we are determined to bring it back to life and make it a paradise once again.
We are looking for a couple of volunteers to help us in exchange for roof and food. There is no limit of time and no limit of knowledge required. We just need arms and good vibes. We are looking for people who are willing to get their hands dirty, work as a team, and share in the joy of restoring something beautiful.
You will be working alongside Quentin, Javiera, Carlos, and Beatriz, a small team of dedicated, friendly people. The atmosphere is warm and collaborative, and we value good communication, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. No special skills are required, just enthusiasm and energy.
Puerto Varas is a stunning area, known for its German-influenced architecture, crystal-clear lakes, and the dramatic presence of the Calbuco and Osorno volcanoes. On your days off, you can explore the nearby national parks, hike through ancient forests, kayak on the lakes, or simply enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside.

WORKING ARRANGEMENT
We ask for about 5 hours of work per day. The tasks vary depending on the stage of the restoration and the weather. You might be cleaning, clearing debris, painting, repairing, gardening, or helping with construction. The work is hands-on and physical, but it is also deeply satisfying. LIVING ARRANGEMENT
We offer accommodation and food in exchange for your help. You will have a roof over your head and meals shared together. The food is simple, homemade, and made with local ingredients.
