Volunteer in New Sisera Academy and Their Garden of Eden project
Location: Mackinnon Road, Kwale County , Kenya
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Welcome to The New Sisera and Garden of Eden Project
We are a school-based environmental and education project in Kenya, dedicated to creating a greener, healthier, and more inspiring learning environment for children and the community. Our dream is to build a living “Garden of Eden” where trees grow, students learn, and nature is cared for with love and purpose.
Our project focuses on tree planting, school greening, environmental education, and practical community service. We welcome volunteers who are friendly, responsible, and willing to take part in meaningful hands-on work that makes a real difference. This is a chance to help children, support sustainability, and be part of a beautiful local initiative.
Volunteers may assist with planting trees, watering seedlings, mulching, digging holes, clearing spaces for planting, maintaining the compound, and supporting simple school activities. Depending on their skills and interests, they may also help with teaching, environmental clubs, creative lessons, or encouraging students to care for the environment.
We value teamwork, respect, and cultural exchange. In return for your help, you will experience Kenyan school life, interact with students and staff, and learn about daily life in our community. We believe that every tree planted is a step toward a better future.
We are looking for volunteers who are positive, hardworking, open-minded, and ready to work outdoors. Experience in gardening, farming, teaching, conservation, or child support is helpful, but the most important thing is a good attitude and willingness to learn.
Help may include planting trees, caring for seedlings, watering, weeding, mulching, and supporting environmental activities with students.
